Sis, Sunshine, and I went swimming today.
They were inspired by the Olympic synchrinized swimmers- and by TeeKay and Auntie Em last week, but unfortunately there are no pictures! So they decided to try. Their first efforts were not bad…
But they wouldn’t qualify for the Olympics. So they kept working! They got better and better.
And finally…. voila!

Persevere. Always with support. Makes the battle half as difficult and it’s so nice to feel the comfort of those cheering us on to victory.
I am reminded of something I read not that long ago – practice, practice, practice….referring to Romans 5:4….and yes for us our “Gold’ is in Jesus Christ! Great photos and a terrific finish! {clap, clap, clap ~ ~ applause, applause} for the winners!
What fun! I remember doing this with my sister back in the day. Nothing more fun than a lazy day at the pool. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
