You know, probably my inability to just let things go. I prayed about this during my women’s retreat this weekend. Things get snarky and I wonder why. I realize I am fully half of this problem. I know he doesn’t always think before speaking, but I don’t have to go toe-to-toe over each comment. I can’t simply explain why the comment hurt me and let him consider it from there.

  4. I love this question, Auntie Em. It really forces me to engage with a meaningful consideration for my marriage and life. I guess I’d say, my inability to see my own sin–usually pride or fear–prevents me from expressing agape love. Thankfully God doesn’t let me get off the hook that easily and continually convicts me of my sin. Thanks for the prompt!

  5. Thank you for sharing this marriage post over at WholeHearted Home this week. This is such a needed blessing that I hope many will benefit from.
